Private calligraphy workshop
Two hours tutoring in the comfort of your own home. My style of calligraphy is modern using a pointed dip pen and nib.
We will learn the anatomy of a nib, the basic principles of calligraphy, then move from practice strokes to the alphabet and joining letters to create words.
Enjoy the session alone or get some friends together and make an evening of it!
The regular kit includes:
Penholder, nib, pot of black ink, Written by Emma workshop booklet
The Expanded kit contains:
Penholder, 3 different nibs, black and another colour ink, Written by Emma workshop booklet, full pad of practice paper
Once booked, Emma will be in touch to arrange a date and time. If you have a specific date in mind, please email hello@writtenbyemma.co.uk to ensure this is available prior to booking!
This service is available to those in Manchester and surrounding areas. Any postcodes beyond 3 miles of M30 will be subject to a travelling surcharge.
